A Summer of Fun: Junee Library & Recreation Centre Holiday Program

A Record-Breaking Summer of Creativity, Learning & Laughter in Junee!

The Junee Library and Junee Junction Recreation & Aquatic Centre hosted one of their most successful holiday programs yet, with an incredible 99% participation rate. Families from across the region came together to enjoy an exciting range of fun, educational, and interactive activities that brought the local community to life.

Young readers took on the popular Summer Reading Challenge, earning stamps and prizes with each visit to the library. Creative minds thrived with hands-on workshops like Button Flower Vases, Dolly Peg Fans, and Stained Glass Insect Designs. Children made new friends, played games like BINGO, and filled the library with energy and laughter.

Adults were invited to join the fun too. The Crafty Crowd met regularly to create beautiful string-covered vases in a relaxed and social atmosphere.

This vibrant program highlighted the power of community, creativity, and connection. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, the library and recreation centre continue to be warm, welcoming spaces for all.
